Next Meeting February 19th

We are very excited to have a naturopath, Dr. Juliet Ghodsian from the Sage Clinic come and speak with our group on February 19th

Here is a brief biography for Dr. Ghodsian:

From a very young age, Dr. Ghodsian has had a passion for helping others. She spent a year after high school as a volunteer teacher for indigenous children in the mountains of Ecuador. She then pursued an undergraduate degree in Social Work, accepting an internship in case management for children and adolescents with cerebral palsy, autism, and other developmental disabilities. She then completed the four-year naturopathic medical degree programme at Bastyr University, and two years of clinical training at the Bastyr Centre for Natural Health. During her medical training she pursued certification in Craniosacral Therapy Levels I, II and III. She continued on to receive advanced training (approximately 100 hours) as a preceptor with three different doctors who specialize in Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. She has trained with both the Integrative Body Work Institute and the Upledger Institute. She continues to expand her skill set in this area through continuing education studies.

In her practice, Dr. Ghodsian blends her expertise in counselling therapy, Kundalini yoga breath-work, and bodywork techniques with naturopathic modalities such as: homeopathic remedies, bio-therapeutic drainage, botanical medicines, nutritional supplements, and diet/lifestyle counseling; creating a simple, personalized treatment plan for each patient. She strives to uncover and treat the true cause of disease, whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.
